‘Scapes — Looking for some new scenery for your lunchtime stroll? The Art League Gallery’s August landscape exhibit is currently underway. Artwork of all mediums inspired by environments as diverse as coastal scenes and industrial-urban environments is on display today from noon to 6 p.m. at 105. N. Union St.
National Filet Mignon Day — Old Town is packed with restaurants serving fine filets for those looking to celebrate this medium-rare holiday. The Carlyle Club (411 John Carlyle St.), Warehouse Bar and Grill (214 King St.), Brabo (1600 King St.) and Columbia Firehouse (109 S. St. Asaph St.) all offer filet mignon.
