New Pizza Restaurant Coming to Alexandria

Look for Pie 360 to open this summer in Alexandria's Foxchase shopping center, its first location in Virginia.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Love pizza? You'll want to check out Pie 360, a new pizza restaurant coming to Alexandria's Shoppes of Foxchase shopping center on Duke St.

The new eatery will be located right next door to another pizza restaurant, Papa John's. The Papa John's manager said Monday they aren't going anywhere and plan to keep offering their usual pick-up and delivery service. Pie 360 will offer seating for about 40.

The restaurant will bring even more offerings to Foxchase, will also has a Chipotle, Burger 7 and the recently opened Cava Grille.

In addition to build-your-own pizza, the new restaurant will serve up build-your-own salads, specialty salads, panini sandwiches and desserts including banana pudding and cookies. Check out the entire menu here.

The new pizza restaurant, a fast casual spinoff of Coal Fire Pizza will be the first Pie 360 to locate in Virginia. Others will also be opening on K Street in DC and on Rockville Pike, according to a recent report by the Baltimore Sun.

Yelp reviewers give the Pie 360 in Baltimore four stars.

No opening date has been set for the new Foxchase Pie 360, but the company mentions an opening in late August or early September as opening timeframes for the Alexandria location, according to a post from the company on its Facebook page.

Hours at the Pie 360 location in Baltimore are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The Web site for the company mentions that "all of the locations" sell beer and wine. No application is on file at Virginia ABC.

The company's Coal Fire, which also serves up pizza, has one location in Burke and two more coming to Sterling and Dulles.
