The northbound lanes of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge are closed Friday afternoon due to an overturned truck, according to a news release from the City of Alexandria.
Significant traffic delays are anticipated during evening rush hour as work is performed to clear the bridge.
The city advises motorists to use the "THRU" outer loop lanes on I-95/I-495 across the Wilson Bridge or to avoid the bridge completely this evening.
