Alexandria Community Theater players opened a bluegrass benefit concert at Old Town's Nannie J. Lee Memorial Recreation Center

The Alexandria Community Theater players opened a benefit on Friday night for Hungry for Music, a program that donates musical instruments to after-school music programs. The benefit, for bluegrass player Hazel Dickens, was held at Old Town's Nannie J. Lee Memorial Recreation Center. The Lee Center is working with Hungry for Music on a music program, and they plan to work closely together on a series of benefit concerts.
