'Ballcap Bandit' Bank Robbery Suspect Strikes Again in Alexandria: FBI
FBI: Suspect who robbed Wells Fargo Bank Thursday on Fern Street is the same suspect who robbed a bank last week in Del Ray.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The suspect in the robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank at Fern Street and Quaker Lane Thursday is the same person who robbed the bank in Del Ray last Monday morning, an FBI spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon.

The bank robbed Thursday at 11:50 a.m. is located at 1711 Fern St., at the corner of Fern Street and Quaker Lane in Alexandria. Alexandria Police reported the robbery shortly before lunchtime; they say the man fled on foot.
The suspect robbed the Suntrust Bank last Monday morning, April 18, at 2809 Mt. Vernon Ave. in Del Ray. It's about two miles away from the Wells Fargo Bank.

The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 5’6” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a baseball cap, glasses and a gray coat. Thursday, he wore a Brooklyn Nets cap; last Monday, he wore an Oakland Raiders cap.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of this bank robbery suspect.
