Police Officer Rescues 'Lucky' the Pug Monday on Duke Street
This little furry guy got loose near police headquarters Monday and was scooped up by a police officer.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- An angel by the name of Alexandria Police Officer Young was in the right place at the right time Monday when he scooped up a furry little guy who got loose on Duke Street in the City's West End.
A little dog, a Pug appropriately named "Lucky," was truly lucky when he was saved by Young from the busy roadway.
Young stopped traffic at 3600 Duke Street, which also happens to be near Alexandria Police Department headquarters, to get Lucky before he met with an unlucky fate.
