Reserve Valentine’s Day Tables Now At Alexandria's Top Restaurants
If you're looking for a romantic dinner for two, here are some of the options for Valentine's Day dining.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year, and if you haven’t made reservations for dinner out at one of Alexandria’s best local restaurants, do it now.
About one-third of U.S. adults plan an evening out to celebrate Valentine’s Day and will spend an estimated $4.9 billion, according to a National Retail Federation survey.
Feb. 14 falls on a Friday this year, and that means Alexandria restaurants will likely be busy through the weekend, as well as a day or two earlier than the holiday.

Many, but not all, local restaurants handle reservations through OpenTable, an online service. Romantic restaurants typically fill up a week before Valentine’s Day.

Francis Hall: A $65 cocktail tasting for two experience is being offered.
Delia's: Celebrate Valentine's Day with a curated menu from Feb. 14 to 16.
Bastille: A Valentine's Day menu will be available from Feb. 13 to 15.
Lena's Wood-Fired Pizza and Tap: The Valentine's Day menu is available in The Loft at Lena's - Havana 151 and Lena's Tap Room.
King & Rye: Valentine's Day specials are available during dinner service on Feb. 14 and 15.
The Majestic: A Valentine's Day menu will be offered Feb. 14 to 16 in addition to the regular menu.
Mia's Italian Kitchen: Valentine's Day specials will be served Feb. 14 to 16 in addition to the regular menu.
Royal Restaurant: A Valentine's Day menu will be available Feb. 14 to 16 in addition to regular offerings.
Joe Theismann's Restaurant: Surf and turf and seafood linguine are the Valentine's Day specials from Feb. 14 to 16.
Cheesetique - Del Ray: A Valentine's Day prix fixe menu is offered.
Ada's on the River: In addition to the regular menu, a Valentine's Day menu will be offered on FEb. 14 to 16.
Barca Wine Bar and Pier: A Valentine's Day Wine Tasting will be hosted on Feb. 14 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with Ardi Staka. Guests will enjoy a welcome drink before a multi-course wine tasting paired with food.
Vola's Dockside Grill: A Valentine's Day menu will be served Feb. 14 to 16 in addition to the regular menu.
Kismet Modern Indian: A three-course pre-fixe menu will be available for Valentine's Day.
Del Ray Cafe: A three-course Valentine's Day menu is available Feb. 12 to 16.
Thanida Thai Restaurant and Bar: A Valentine's Day for two menu is available along with an option to add a house bottle of wine pairing.
Cedar Knoll: A Valentine's Day menu is available.
Mount Vernon Inn Restaurant: Valentine's Day Afternoon Teas are offered on Feb. 15 and 16.
