Scholarship Fund of Alexandria Anniversary Gala + Silent Auction Saturday
Saturday night's event will mark 30 years of scholarship support for T.C. Williams High students.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Marking 30 years of scholarship support for T.C. Williams High School students and also the high school’s 50th anniversary, the Scholarship Fund of Alexandria (SFA) will hold its spectacular fundraising event, the Anniversary Gala and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 23 at the Mark Center Hilton in Alexandria.
SFA is proud of its 30-year commitment to providing need-based scholarships to T.C. Williams students, organizers said this week in a news release about the event. During those three decades, the group has awarded more than $11.5 million in scholarships, helping send more than 4,200 kids to college.
The April 23 Gala will celebrate not only the 30th anniversary of the Scholarship Fund but also the 50th anniversary of T.C. Williams High School and the rich cultural history and legacy of the Titans over this past half century. The Gala will honor with pride the success of its many past scholarship recipients and also the generosity of the hundreds of Alexandria business, community, government and education leaders in attendance. SFA will also celebrate the generosity of local Alexandria residents and businesses – all of whom have championed the fund during its 30 years of service to the community.
