Shooting Victim's Mother Plans to Attend Alexandria Police Community Meeting: Report
Mother says after violent police raid targeting her son as suspect in June 8 shooting, her son was then set up for retaliation.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The community meeting scheduled for Wednesday night in Alexandria, in response to a fatal shooting over the weekend, could get heated.
The mother of the 23-year old victim, Saquan Hall, shot and killed early Saturday, plans to attend and confront police at the meeting, according to a report by NBC-4.
The Alexandria Police Department will be holding the community meeting at Charles Houston Recreation Center on Wednesday, July 6, at 6:30 p.m. to address community concerns regarding Saturday's early morning shooting death, they announced.

Hall was apparently a suspect in the June 8 fatal shooting of Pierre Clark, 28, who was gunned down in broad daylight. Hall's mother says police raided their home later that night, saying her son was a suspect in the shooting; she alleges the raid set her son up to be killed in retaliation for Clark's shooting.
WUSA showed a picture of the woman's front door with a crack in it where police allegedly busted down her door in the middle of the night. Patrice Hall told the TV station that it sounded like a bomb went off.

"It [the raid] put Saquan in harm's way," she told NBC-4's Julie Carey. "They had no proof that Saquan had shot Pierre."
Police aren't talking details about suspects as they investigate the homicides and told the TV station they had questioned more than one suspect in the June 8 shooting of Clark.
