Halloween Display Guide: Share Your Spooky Displays In NoVA, Fredericksburg
Patch is compiling a 2024 guide to Northern Virginia's best Halloween displays. If your yard is decorated to impress, share a photo with us.

VIRGINIA — October means Northern Virginia's ordinary yards are turning into creepy displays filled with ghosts, animatronics, inflatables, spiderwebs and more spooky features.
With that in mind, Patch.com is starting to compile its annual Halloween list of yard haunts that are worth visiting around Northern Virginia and Fredericksburg.
We are looking for owners of these haunted yards to submit their yards to us through our Google Form. Make sure to submit a photo or two if you have some to share. You are also welcome to send details, location and photos of your display to Emily.Leayman@patch.com.

Once we begin receiving submissions, we will include your display in our Northern Virginia roundup. We will continue adding to our Halloween display guide through Halloween on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Here are some guidelines to consider when submitting your display:
- We prefer that the homeowner submit his or her own yard, or at least an immediate neighbor or close relative.
- Include the exact address of the yard haunt and your email in case we need to get in touch with you.
- Does your yard haunt have a name? Feel free to include it.
- Let us know the dates when your display is up and if it has any particular hours.
- Will you be planning anything special for your display? Will you be passing out candy to trick or treaters on Halloween?
- Does your display have any rules? Feel free to share so spectators aren’t bothering your neighbors.
- Does your display have a Facebook page or website?
