T.C. Williams Cosmetology Students Host Spa Day
Students are raising money for trip to beauty expo in New York

The T.C. Williams Cosmetology Department is hosting a spa day Feb. 14 to raise money for a trip to a New York beauty expo. The event is open to the public.
Students will provide manicures, facials, pedicures, hairstyles and more from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fees range from $8 for a manicure to $15 for a shampoo, pedicure or facial.
About 45 11th and 12th grade students are hoping to raise funds to take a trip Mar. 8 to the Javitz Center in Manhattan to the International Beauty Show. Students are hoping to raise enough money to defray the cost of the $30 expo entrance fee for each student and to rent a bus, according to T.C. Williams cosmetology Instructional Assistant Stacey Rue.
