The public is invited to offer its input on how the city should use its financial resources.

The public is invited on Oct. 15 to attend City Council’s regularly scheduled public hearing to offer comments regarding Alexandria's Fiscal Year 2013 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program, which begins July 1, 2012.

Residents are encouraged to "provide input on how the City should use its limited financial resources to meet its most important community goals," according to a city news release.

The public hearing will convene at 9:30 a.m. in the City Council Chamber in City Hall, which is located at 301 King St.
