It is important to watch the homes that go under contract to understand the Reston real estate market. Here are the highlights from the week

Every week many homes listed on the market go under contract and sell, by watching these properties we can draw certain conclusions to help us understand the market. By studying these properties we can see how long an average home will be on the market, what upgrades help homes get sold, and how much a home will sell for compared to its original list price just to name a few. In the past week there were 26 properties that sold with an average days on market of 55 days and an average list price of $531,027; there were also 1 home that went under contract with the average days on market being 12 days and an average list price of $429,000.
