• Richlands man arrested after alleged porch fire and attempted theft (wvva.com) — Richlands police are investigating an early-morning incident where a masked man allegedly tried to burn part of a Burnette Street porch and take a portable heater before being quickly detained nearby. Officers recovered video, a torch, and brass knuckles, and say the suspect is a 21-year-old Richlands resident. Residents are urged to share any security footage and to call 911 about suspicious activity rather than confronting anyone themselves.
