Avery Point Donates Thanksgiving Meals to Goochland Fire-Rescue Dept.
Community comes together to show appreciation to local EMS and first responders.

Residents and the administration of Avery Point, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Short Pump, Va., donated 30 Thanksgiving meals and pies to the Goochland Fire-Rescue Department. This heartfelt initiative, aimed at supporting and appreciating local EMS and first responders, garnered enthusiastic participation from the community.
"We are blessed at Avery Point to have a Goochland EMS/fire station within 5 minutes from us. To show our thanks, the administration and residents worked together to provide a complete Thanksgiving dinner, with plenty of pies, for all three shifts at Company 3. As a member of RAC's Resident Life committee, I helped organize this much-deserved and appreciated event," said resident Marge Bruning.
