Avery Point Names Sheena Lewis as Director of General Services

Lewis was named one of Erickson Senior Living's 2024 Leaders of the Year.

Avery Point, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Short Pump, Va., has named Sheena Lewis as Director of General Services.

Lewis started her career at Erickson Senior Living in 2018 at Riderwood Village, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Maryland. Initially supporting the company's philanthropic efforts, she later transitioned into the role of re-occupancy manager, where she was responsible for overseeing the process of preparing and managing the turnover of apartment homes. Soon after, she became the assistant director of general services and leveraged her Six Sigma certification to drive improvements and uphold quality standards. Lewis also has hands-on experience working in the Real Estate Industry.

Recognized for her contributions to the organization, Lewis was named one of Erickson Senior Living's 2024 Leaders of the Year. In her new role as General Services Director, Lewis manages various departments and teams to ensure the efficient operation of facilities and services within the community. Key responsibilities include facilities management, housekeeping, environmental services, security and safety, and transportation services.

Lewis holds a bachelor's in communications with a concentration in marketing from the University of Maryland. She resides in Short Pump.
