APPOMATTOX, VA — Looking for a cool Airbnb in Virginia? Condé Nast Traveler has found what it believes is the coolest Airbnb in the state.
The Airbnb is a little cabin in the woods, on a bluff overlooking the Appomattox River. The one-bedroom, red-roofed house was built in the 1800s but comes with plenty of modern touches, including Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and a dishwasher.
Condé Nast Traveler put together a list of the coolest Airbnbs in all 50 states. The top listing for Virginia and all 49 other states are run by an Airbnb Superhosts with a 4.8 rating or higher.

Other top Airbnbs across the country include treehouse living in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas and The Mazant, a Bywater mansion in New Orleans dating to the 1880s.

"While everything is set up for a comfortable and easy stay, there are a few things to remember: The stairs are as old as they are beautiful, they're steep and have shallow treads. Be careful, take it slow, and you'll be fine!" the Airbnb hosts write.
When visiting the cabin, travelers can rent a bicycle from The Outdoor Adventure Store in nearby Farmville to pedal the High Bridge Trail, a 31-mile converted “rail trail” lofted 125 feet above the Appomattox.
