Richmond Police Department: Statement On River City Middle School Incident

Thursday, February 17, 2022

Today at approximately 10:30 a.m., a Richmond Police
Department School Resource Officer inside River City Middle confiscated a
firearm from the backpack of a 13-year old student. Once located, the juvenile
was taken into police custody and has been charged with the following:

Due to the seriousness of the charges, the juvenile has been
transported and accepted into juvenile intake.
