The City will open on a delayed schedule on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at 10 a.m. due to the inclement weather.

As a reminder, all residential and commercial solid waste collection will be on an "A" week recycling, bulk and brush collection schedule and will be delayed one day for the entire week.

- Tuesday–Trash, “A” week single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Wednesday
- Wednesday–Trash, “A” week single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Thursday
- Thursday–Trash, “A” week single-stream recycling, bulk and brush will be collected on Friday
The Roanoke City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the City Council Chamber and livestreamed on the City's Facebook page. Please note that the 6 p.m. Roanoke City Public School Board Meeting has been postponed. The rescheduled date will be announced.
