  1. Officials at Westside Elementary School say they found two unloaded guns on campus after receiving a report about the presence of the weapons. The school and students are cooperating with Roanoke police in their investigation and counseling for students is available. (WSLS)
  2. The Berglund Center has announced that Daryl Hall, lead singer of long time pop band Hall & Oates, has been added to the Elmwood Park concert series. Hall will perform with fellow Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame musician Todd Rundgren on Aug. 5. Tickets go on sale May 20. (WDBJ)
  3. Peacemakers, a Roanoke-based organization that patrols areas impacted by gun violence, is voicing concerns after receiving only a small part of the grant funding they requested. At a City Council meeting Monday night, CEO Shawn Hunter said it received only $10,000 from a $50,000 request. (WSLS)
  4. "Wheel of Fortune LIVE!,” a live on stage version of the well-known TV game show will be coming to the Berglund Center on Sept. 21. In this new live show, guests can audition to go on stage where they will have the chance to spin a replica of the wheel, solve the puzzles on the tour’s puzzle-board and win prizes that include cash and trips.
