Stafford, VA — Virginia has a storied tradition of military service, with countless individuals dedicating their lives to protecting our nation. While words can't fully capture the immense gratitude we feel for our servicemen and women, Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to highlight a few remarkable veterans and active-duty military members from our state.

Army Sgt. First Class. My father continues to share all of his experiences through the word of God he preaches to his congregation.

Tell us about the military hero and what your community should know about them.

My father is the epitome of a soldier in the military and Gods Army. My father shares his military experience with youth in his community to help them see a clearer path and has assisted many young people to find their way whether to the military or in life. As a survivor of 911, my father gives all praise to God for being favored but he doesn’t shy away from sharing his experience and how his military trainings kicked in and he was able to assist his coworkers to get out of the building to safety. My father is a true HERO and has ALWAYS be our families HERO!
