Once storms pass through Tysons Corner, the area should enjoy plenty of clear skies and sunshine this weekend.

Friday’s weather forecast in Tysons Corner is a bit sketchy, but once a series of afternoon storms pass through the area there should be plenty of blue skies and sunshine throughout the weekend.

The National Weather Service did issue a hazardous weather outlook throughout Northern Virginia regarding Friday afternoon’s storms, stating “isolated thunderstorms capable of producing strong winds are possible.”

Those showers are expected to have moved through the area by Friday evening.

Friday: Scattered showers, mainly before 3 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 79. Northeast wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83. Northeast wind 7 to 11 mph

Saturday night: Mostly clear, with a low around 67. East wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.

Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 86. Light and variable wind.
