Hello Kitty Cafe Truck Will Bring Exclusive Toys And Treats To Tysons Corner Center
Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be rolling into Tysons Corner Center this Saturday, bringing exclusive toys and treats.

WASHINGTON, DC — Each spring, thousands of visitors descend on the Tidal Basin in Washington, D.C. to take in the beauty of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
This year, the festival will celebrate its 110th anniversary, commemorating the gift of 3,000 cherry trees to the city from Tokyo Mayor Yukio Osaka in 1912.
As it has in previous years, the festival hosts a number of activities — many of them free — highlighting Japanese culture. A full list of events is available on the festival's website.

This year, a popular Japanese retail and cultural icon will be coming to the District to help celebrate the return of the cherry blossoms.
The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be making five stops around the D.C. area to sell exclusive treats and collectibles, including:

Fans of the Japanese pop culture icon will also be able to purchase Hello Kitty Cafe Plush Toys and Giant Hello Kitty Cafe Chef Cookies from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., this Saturday, when the truck sets up in the Events Plaza at Tysons Corner Center.
Over the next couple of weeks, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will make two stops additional in Maryland before it rolls into D.C. for the National Cherry Blossom Festival's Sakuri Matsuri Japanese Street Festival on Pennsylvania Avenue. The truck will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday, April 9 and from 10:30 am. to 4 p.m., on Sunday, April 10.
