Kids Need Adequate Food To Do Their Best

The Weekend Food for Kids Program is a key focus of Assistance League of Northern Virginia’s efforts to help students from low-income families who struggle to provide basic necessities. There’s no escaping the fact that continuing high costs for groceries are pinching budgets, and some children go hungry when school meals are not available. You can help Assistance League keep the elementary students we serve at local Title 1 schools from going hungry by contributing items from our June Food for Kids Wish List.
