Powerball Jackpot Soars to $600M for Saturday Drawing
Virginia has produced several $1 million winners and one Powerball jackpot winner. If you draw the Powerball winning numbers in Saturday's lottery, the one-time payout could be almost $377 million.

After no one picked all five winning numbers and the Powerball, the new Powerball prize for the Saturday, May 18 drawing is an estimated $600 million—the third-largest Powerball prize in the history of the game.
Virginia is no stranger to Powerball winners. In addition to several $1 million winners, Dave and Nancy Honeywell of Fredericksburg took a $136 million cash payout in February of this year. A person from Christiansburg won $1 million in Wednesday night's drawing.
The one-time cash payout is estimated at $376.9 million. Tickets are $2 and the game is played in Virginia and 42 other states, including Florida, Texas, California and New York.
