Winds will pick up this week as well, causing temperatures to continue to drop into the 50s and 60s as we move deeper and deeper into the autumn season.

The National Weather Service only projects thunderstorms on Tuesday evening, but it does project the constant rain will continue into the weekend.

Monday night: A chance of rain, mainly after midnight. Cloudy, with a low around 68. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.
Tuesday: A chance of rain before noon, then a chance of showers after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 80. Southeast wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
