Here are the top 3 stories today in Vienna:

  1. More than a dozen stray guinea pigs were discovered in a Fairfax County park earlier this week. A local dog walker says they rounded up 14 of the guinea pigs from the thorny blackberry bushes at Laurel Hill Equestrian Center on Tuesday. The guinea pigs were transported to the Fairfax County Animal Shelter, where they are resting before being put up for adoption next week. (WJLA)
  2. Fairfax County Fire and Rescue crews responded to a reported gas leak in nearby Reston on Friday, Feb. 24. The leak prompted officials to shut down all eastbound lanes and all but one westbound lane of Sunset Hills Road until gas company workers arrived to clamp the leak around 10:00 a.m. No injuries were reported as a result of the leak. (WJLA)
  3. Looking for a way to keep the kids entertained this summer? Fairfax County Public Schools has announced its 2023 summer camps. Offerings include Tech Adventure Camp and Institute for the Arts. Visit the link to view camp details and learn how to register. (Fairfax County Public Schools)
