Accidental Fire Displaces Four Residents
Wednesday blaze on Loch Lomond Drive causes $75,000 in damage

Fairfax County fire officials said an accidental fire Wednesday night caused $75,000 in damage, displacing four people from their Loch Lomond Drive home.
Trucks responded at 4:10 p.m. to the two-story, single-family home after a resident reported it in an upstairs bedroom. When they arrived, the house off of Lawyers Road in Vienna was engulfed by heavy smoke on all sides. An "agressive interior fire attack" put out the fire quickly, the department said in a statement.
There were no working smoke alarms in the home, the department said. Investigators found the fire was caused by an electrical anomaly within the primary electrical service.
