Bluegrass Band Coming to Frying Pan Farm Park in January
Make plans to see the bluegrass band Jan. 15 at Frying Pan Farm Park.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Enjoy an evening of traditional bluegrass sounds as Chris Henry and the Hardcore Grass come to Frying Pan Farm Park. These musicians will be drawing from the best years of traditional bluegrass as they deliver intense and compelling tunes on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017.
The group, founded in 2012, has risen quickly to become one of the most popular bluegrass groups in
Nashville. Henry has been described by the International Bluegrass Music Association as the
premiere Monroe-style mandolinist of his generation. Their Frying Pan show is part of the park’s
Bluegrass Barn series.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and there will be food and drinks, including beer and wine, available for
purchase. The show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 in advance; $20 at the door; and $16 for
advance group purchases of 10 or more.

The series at the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying Pan Park, Vienna
Hardwoods, Eastman Guitars and Mandolins, and Arts Herndon, in cooperation with the Fairfax
County Park Authority.
