Madison Masters Golf Tournament

As a student at James Madison High School, Mark Ryan McGinly was an outstanding athlete, playing for both the varsity golf team and the varsity basketball team. Three out of the four years McGinly was on the golf team, it was the Virginia State Champion. He was captain during his senior year, and won a coach's award for his performance during the season.

On Sept. 11, 2001, McGinly was working on the 92nd floor of the World Trade Center, and, like many others, died that day.

This year's Madison Master's Tournament is being played in McGinly's name, and will benefit the Warhawk Athletic Booster Club and Madison's Athletic Hall of Fame.
