FALLS CHURCH, VA — Omigod you guys! The latest show by George C. Marshall High School Statesmen Theatre is sure to be a pink-filled night of music.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. on April 24 to 26 and May 3 to 4 and 2 p.m. on April 26 and May 4. The production will run about two hours with a 15-minute intermission.
The musical follows the story of blonde, college-sorority queen, Elle Woods. The performance is the last show for Marshall's retiring theatre director Bernie DeLeo. He chose it as a familiar show that his students would get excited about.
"Like every theatre program, I am blessed with a surfeit of young women and I liked the idea of producing a play about female empowerment - that’s also a crazy amount of fun," said DeLeo. "I chose it at the end of the last school year, then saw and loved the Barbie movie a few weeks later, and realized how current and compelling its shared themes were right now. Expect lots of pink."
