Vienna Family-Run Restaurant Owners Say Farewell, New Owners Expected
Skorpios Maggio's Family Restaurant is closing in Vienna and is in talks with potential new owners.

VIENNA, VA — After a quarter century serving gyros, baklava and other Greek specialties, Skorpio's Maggio's Greek Family Restaurant will end its run under the Maggio family ownership.
Chris and Sherry Maggio announced on social media that Thursday is their last day of ownership at Skorpios Maggio's Family Restaurant. The owners said they are taking time "to prioritize our family time and health." The restaurant has been family-owned since 1990 and has been known to give back to the community.
The family says they are in contact with potential new owners "who are excited about continuing the traditions and flavors you have come to love at Maggio’s." The restaurant is expected to have a transition period and potentially renovations.

"We cannot express enough gratitude to all our loyal customers, friends, and staff for your unwavering support over the years. Your patronage has meant the world to us!" the Maggio family shared. "Thank you for being the biggest part of our lives, Vienna! We will cherish the memories and community we have built together.
