Final Barns At Wolf Trap Shows Announced For 2022-2023 Season

Barns at Wolf Trap shows will run into the spring with the addition of two final performances.

VIENNA, VA — The new year will bring more musical entertainment in a variety of genres to the Barns at Wolf Trap. On Tuesday, Wolf Trap announced its final shows for the Barns, which has a season extending into spring 2023.

One of the two newly-announced shows is Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives on April 6 and 7. Country artist Stuart has played with Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020. Now as he heads to Wolf Trap, he and the Fabulous Superlatives will perform music honoring country music's legacy.

The other performance is by singer and songwriter Karla Bonoff on April 19. Bonoff is known for being on the soundtrack of "Footloose" and has written hits for Bonnie Raitt, Wynonna Judd, Linda Rondstadt and more. Some of her best known songs are "I Can’t Hold On," "Personally," "Someone to Lay Down Beside Me" and "All My Life."

The Barns at Wolf Trap, a 382-seat indoor venue, is built from two 18th-century barns and hosts shows during the cooler months. Tickets for the newly-announced shows go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Wolf Trap members can access pre-sales.
