It’s Thursday. The weekend is so close you can almost taste it. Downside? You’ve got no idea what to do during your two days of freedom.

Benefit Concert featuring Vienna musician Robbie Schaefer
Where/When: , 120 Cherry St. SE, Vienna. Friday, 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Why Go: will be presenting this concert to raise money for the store's two foundations: Whole Planet Foundation and One Voice. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the organizations.
Pricing: Tickets are $15 and include raffle entry and refreshments.
, 541 Marshall Rd SW, Vienna, VA 2218. Saturday March 5, 4 to 6 p.m.
Why Go: The Vienna Choral Society and special guests Mark Jaster and Sabrina Mandell take a romp through Aesop’s Fables and other tales in an engaging afternoon family concert. Come be enchanted by favorite stories like the Tortoise and the Hare, the Fox and the Grapes in both mime and song.
Pricing: Tickets available at the door or at www.viennachoralsociety.org. $20 Adult, $15 Senior/Student, $35 Family.

Why Go: If you're looking for a job and interested in working in an independent school, then this job fair is for you. According to the event listing, "The hiring fair at Flint Hill features workshops, lunch, and interviews for prospective employees at independent schools." Visit the school's website for more information on the event.

Why Go: If you've had a long work week and you're looking for a way to unwind, be sure to check out this event. As an added bonus, there will be great food and refreshments!
Pricing: $20 per person.

Where/When: , 220 N Washington St, Falls Church. Saturday, 8 p.m.
Why Go: This is D.C.'s biggest Mardi Gras celebration! If you're interested, be sure to grab some tickets. The event will likely sell out. As an added incentive, the first 200 party-goers inside the doors will receive free Mardi Gras masks!
Pricing: Tickets, $14.

Where/When: , 4400 University Dr, Fairfax. Friday and Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: They're the Harlem Globetrotters - in Fairfax! How often does that happen? Be sure to check out the to find out how to save $7 on tickets!
Pricing: Tickets start at $19.50.
Where/When: Old Town Plaza in Fairfax City, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: Come see chocolate art and treats showcased by professionals and amateurs. Visitors and professional judges will select the best entries in several categories. A silent auction will be held for donated sweets. Proceeds go to Chocolate Lovers Festival Committee, a non-profit organization.
Pricing: Pay $1 for admission, program and raffle ticket.
