VIENNA, VA — As we dream of warmer days, Wolf Trap has announced its first summer 2023 concerts at the Filene Center.
Live music and other entertainment under the stars is a summer tradition at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. This summer, Wolf Trap will draw big-name performers like John Legend, Charlie Puth, Buddy Guy, the Steve Miller Band, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Train and more.
"The shows we’re announcing today are quintessentially ‘Wolf Trap,’ with extraordinary artists spanning genres and generations," said Arvind Manocha, president and CEO of Wolf Trap Foundation, in a statement. "Now is the perfect moment to call your friends and family, and make plans to hear your favorite artists live in one of the most beautiful settings in the country. We can’t wait to see you."

Along with a regular season of summer concerts, Wolf Trap's Filene Center will host the Out & About Festival, a two-day festival featuring LGBTQ+ artists. The festival on June 24 and 25 will be headlined by Brandi Carlile and feature 10 other LGBTQ+ artists and allies on three outdoor stages.
Another highlight is the National Symphony Orchestra summer residency, which includes violinist Hilary Hahn in her Wolf Trap debut, the return of Lyle Lovett and his Large Band, and Holst’s The Planets with an HD film from NASA’s space explorations. The National Symphony Orchestra will also peform on movie nights — Star Wars: Return of the Jedi in Concert, Jurassic Park™ in Concert, — and two nights celebrating the scores and scenes from Studio Ghibli, including "Spirited Away" and "My Neighbor Totoro" led by the composer, Joe Hisaishi.
