John Legend, More Cynthia Erivo, Children's Theatre-In-The-Woods: New Wolf Trap Shows
Wolf Trap announced more summer season shows, including a Latin American music festival and another chance to see Wicked's Cynthia Erivo.

VIENNA, VA — More performances are on the schedule for the summer season at Wolf Trap's outdoor amphitheater. Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts announced additional performances at the Filene Center as well as the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods season.
Newly-announced Filene Center shows include neo soul performer Erykah Badu on June 14, contemporary gospel group Maverick City Music on Aug. 6, American pop rock group Train on Aug. 20, two nights of John Legend celebrating the 20th anniversary of his double-platinum debut album "Get Lifted" on Sept. 2 and 3, the National Symphony Orchestra performing "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" in Concert on Sept. 5, a second night of Academy Award-nominated Wicked star Cynthia Erivo with the National Symphony Orchestra on Sept. 6, folk singer/songwriter Ray LaMontagne on Sept. 14, and soul-pop singer Steve Winwood on Sep. 20.
In addition, Wolf Trap will debut Todo Sonido, a Latin music festival on July 12 and 13. According to the venue, the festival will showcase Latin America sounds on three stunning outdoor stages. The lineup includes international rockstar Juanes, Colombian vallenato-pop icon Carlos Vives, Puerto Rican star Kany García; multilingual genre-blending ensemble Monsieur Periné, rising corrido singer/songwriter DannyLux and more.

Children and their families can head to Wolf Trap for eight weeks of performances at the Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods stage. Performances happen on select days at 10:30 a.m. from June 20 to Aug. 9. The shows range from international music and dance to theater, and puppetry and include audience interaction for the children.
Tickets for newly-announced shows are available now for Wolf Trap members and will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. on March 28. Reservations for the Ovations Restaurant at Wolf Trap are open now.
