VIENNA, VA — There's a new option to enjoy Korean-style fried chicken and beer in the greater Vienna area.

Bb.q Chicken, Korea's Finest Fried Chicken, held a grand opening Thursday at its new location at 8603 Westwood Center Drive #100, Vienna, VA. The name bb.q (pronounced bee-bee-que) stands for "best of the best quality." At the grand opening, guests joined a ribbon cutting followed by sampling of different chicken flavors, raffles and networking.

The chain specializes in the Korean pairing of chicken and beer, known as Chimaek. According to the brand, bb.q Chicken's fried chicken is lighter and crispier than typical American fried chicken due to frying at a lower temperature. Each piece of chicken is individually coated and tosses in signature sauces such as the Gangnam Style spicy black pepper sauce, Cheesling dusting of sweet cheeses, soy garlic sauce or other choices. Diners can also brave Korea's hottest wings known as "Wings of Fire."
