Madison High School New Student Orientation, China in My Eyes Exhibit

Madison High School hosts its New Student Orientation for 10th to 12th graders today at 9:30 a.m.

Madison Varsity Golf will play at a home game with Thomas Jefferson and South Lakes High School today at 3:30 p.m. 

China in My Eyes is an exhibit open through Oct. 7 featuring 70 photos of life in China taken by 30 residents, at Northern Virginia Community College, 4001 Wakefield Chapel Rd. in Annandale. Call 703-323-3159 for more information.

Learn more about Alexandria’s history. The Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs and the Alexandria Black History Museum are sponsoring a walking tour of important sites associated with attorney Samuel Tucker, a local civil rights leader. The free tour will be offered at 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and end at the history museum.
