Merle Norman Store Celebrates 52 Years Doing Business in Vienna

Merle Norman Cosmetics held a ribbon cutting Saturday with refreshments, treats and prizes. Hollands keep it all in the family.

VIENNA, VA -- The Town of Vienna came out and celebrated Merle Norman Cosmetics' 52nd year in business in town, with a ribbon-cutting Saturday at the store, at 401 Maple Ave. E.

The family-run store is owned by Sharon Holland. Former owner Gerri Holland was on hand to share tips and stories, according to the store's Facebook page. In all, four generations of the Holland family were on hand Saturday.

In addition to the ribbon cutting, customers also enjoyed cookies by Donna Stafford of Stafford House Bed & Breakfast of Fairfax.

The ribbon cutting welcomed Merle Norman's new Gold Medalion studio. In addition to cosmetics, the store also features jewelry by Sharon Woolwine.
