More Barns At Wolf Trap Performances Announced For 2022-2023 Season

VIENNA, VA — Additional performances for the 2022-2023 Barns at Wolf Trap were announced Tuesday by the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts.

The Barns at Wolf Trap, a 382-seat indoor venue made from two 18th-century barns, hosts shows during the cooler months. More performances are expected to be announced through the fall.

Newly announced shows in January include bluegrass performer The Del McCoury Band on Jan 19 to 21, pianto virtuoso George Winston on Jan. 25 and 27 and An Evening with A.J. Croce featuring covers and vocals by the singer/songwriter on Jan. 26.

In February, The 5th Dimension returns to Wolf Trap on Feb. 7 and 8 with original member Florence LaRue. March brings Irish folk icon Seamus Egan on March 10, Tony Award-winning Broadway performer Kelli O’Hara on March 11, Grammy Award-winning Loudon Wainwright III on March 12, jam-grass ensemble Yonder Mountain String Band on March 17 and 18, and vocal-harmonizers Ladysmith Black Mambazo on March 21 and 22. In April, country hitmaker Darrell Scott, who has written songs and melodies for country superstars, will perform on April 28.

Tickets for the newly-announced shows will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16. Wolf Trap members can access tickets through a pre-sale. For tickets and a full schedule, visit wolftrap.org.

Summer season performances at Wolf Trap's Filene Center will wrap up on Sunday, Sept. 18 with Joyfully Together: A Community-Powered Singing Celebration following a sold-out Boyz II Men show on Friday, Sept. 16.
