More Wolf Trap Shows, Holiday Sing-A-Long Announced For 2022-2023
The Holiday Sing-A-Long will return for the first in-person event since 2019, and more Barns at Wolf Trap shows have been announced.

VIENNA, VA — The return of colder weather doesn't mean you can't still enjoy live music minutes from home. Wolf Trap has announced the return of its Holiday Sing-A-Long along with more Barns at Wolf Trap shows for the 2022-2023 season.
The Holiday Sing-A-Long is a holiday favorite, featuring "The President’s Own" United States Marine Band and local choirs to perform Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs and other seasonal ballads. The tradition started in 1968, when founder Catherine Filene Shouse invited local choirs to her farmhouse for a holiday celebration. The event took its current form years later when "The President’s Own" United States Marine Band and an audience were invited to the Filene Center.
This year's event is planned for Saturday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. This is the first time since 2019 the event is in person, as it was held virtually the last two years. The event is free, and no tickets are required to attend. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, and no Wolf Trap shuttle will be provided.

The audience is invited to sing along to their holiday favorites and look for special guests at the event. For the "Jingle-A-Long" performance of "Jingle Bells," attendees are encouraged to bring their own bells to ring along. The event wraps up with a candlelight processional during the last verse of "Silent Night." Attendees can bring their own candles (preferably LED candles).
In other Wolf Trap news, new Barns at Wolf Trap performances have been announced, and tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.
