Nightclub in Vienna Cited for Noise Violation: Police
Also in this week's report, another report of counterfeit money being used at a Vienna restaurant.

VIENNA, VA -- Police were called twice last weekend for noise violations at the Bey Lounge in Vienna, according to the Town of Vienna Police report. The first incident was reported at 12:17 a.m. Saturday, when a resident reported loud music coming from the lounge. An officer arrived and observed that the lounge was in violation of the Town noise ordinance. The officer issued a summons to an employee, a 23-year old from McLean, for violating the ordinance. A second incident took place the following night, when police were called at 11:59 p.m. for a noise complaint. Officers checked but found no violation, police said.
The two incidents are among the following summary, which contains various incidents of general interest handled by the Town of Vienna, Virginia Police Department from January 13, 2017 – January 18, 2017. Readers are reminded that an “arrest” is based upon probable cause and does not always mean that someone was physically taken into custody. Furthermore, it does not mean that an individual is automatically guilty of a crime. Judicial outcomes and post-arrest proceedings can be researched through the appropriate court’s website. (VIENNA POLICE HIGHLIGHTS is not meant to be a listing of every incident or call handled by the Vienna Police, but merely a more substantive summary of several incidents, which may be of interest to the community. Some reports may be outside the date parameters due to extended investigations or other circumstances. Some cases are not included at all due to ongoing investigations.
