Pride of Vienna Sweeps Awards at U.S. Bands Marine Corps Invitational
Not only did the Madison High School band sweep its competition class, but it posted the highest overall score of any group in attendance.

The Pride of Vienna’s competition season is off to a strong start after the Madison High School marching band blew the competition away at the U.S. Bands Marine Corps Invitational last weekend in Annapolis, Md.
Not only did the Warhawks win the 6-Open class, they received the highest score of any group in the competition, regardless of division, earning first place overall honors.
Madison also swept the 6-Open class by winning Best Color Guard, Best Overall Effect, Best Percussion and Best Visual. The cherry on the sundae came when the band was honored with the prestigious Esprit de Corps Award, given by the Marine Corps each year to the band that best exemplified pride, professionalism and patriotism.
