Road Closure To Prompt Detour For Several Days In Vienna Area
A detour is planned during daytime road work over four days, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

VIENNA, VA — A road closure is planned over several days in the Vienna area for stormwater pipe replacement, the Virginia Department of Transportation announced.
The road closure to through traffic will happen on Vale Road between Oak Valley Drive and Flint Hill Road. It will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13. This portion of the road is near St. Mark's Catholic School and Church.
Those heading to properties along Vale Road will get access. Traffic will not be able to go beyond the point of pipe replacement near 9934 Vale Road east of Tanglevale Drive.

A detour for through traffic will be available on Oak Valley Drive, Route 123/Chain Bridge Road) and Flint Hill Road back to Vale Road.
