New 2024 Wolf Trap Shows Announced: Roger Daltrey, TLC, Beck, Nas

From Nas to Beck and Harry Potter in Concert, here are the newly-announced shows coming this summer to Wolf Trap.

VIENNA, VA — There's more to look forward to this summer season as Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts has announced more concerts.

The concert announcement includes more shows at the Filene Center as well as Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods. Tickets for previously announced shows are already on sale. Tickets for the new shows will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on March 29.

In June, concertgoers can expect big-name performers like the Who’s Roger Daltrey with KT Tunstall on June 12, Broadway and screen star Ben Platt on June 23, Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio with the National Symphony Orchestra on June 25.

July brings country icon Clint Black celebrating the 35th anniversary of award-winning debut "Killin’ Time" on July 3, R&B icons TLC, En Vogue and Jody Watley on July 5, rap legend Nas celebrating the 30th anniversary of "Illmatic" with the National Symphony Orchestra on July 21, Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Daryl Hall and Elvis Costello on July 25, and Beck and the National Symphony Orchestra on July 27.

In August, make the dog days of summer with shows like folk pop-rockers CAKE on Aug. 2, super groups The Mountain Goats and The New Pornographers on Aug. 4, local performers Virginia Coalition, emmet swimming and the Pat McGee Band for NOVA Nite on Aug. 7, jam rockers Blues Traveler with Big Head Todd and the Monsters on Aug. 23, country string group Old Crow Medicine Show on Aug. 30, and The Roots with Digable Planets and Arrested Development on Aug. 31.

The summer concert season extends into September with new wave performer Crowded House on Sep. 3 and Squeeze + Boy George on Sep. 10.

Summer also brings movies with musical accompaniment — Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in Concert with the National Symphony Orchestra on July 24 and Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music Sing-A-Long on Aug. 16.

Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods returns for seven weeks of children's entertainment Tuesday through Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m., June 20 through Aug. 3. A few highlights include Meki’s Tamure Arts Group Polynesian Music and Dance on June 21, The Wizard of Oz byVital Theatre Company on June 28, 29 and 30, An Introduction to American Indians through Native Performing Arts on July 5, Choy Wun Lions Chinese Dance and Drumming on July 9 and Maryland Youth Ballet's Rumpelstiltskin on July 26, 27 and 28.
