Snapshots of September 11

It has been 11 years since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

This year, the Town of Vienna will once again host its annual ceremony at 10 a.m. Tuesday outside the Freeman Store and Museum, a celebration of the lives lost during the deadliest terrorist act on U.S. soil.

Mark McGinly, 26, of Vienna, was among those who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center. Read more about McGinly and how his father Bill is working to keep his memory alive at the link below.
