Stolen Vehicle Found In Wawa Parking Lot In Vienna: Police

VIENNA, VA — An out-of-state stolen vehicle was found in a Vienna parking lot last Friday, according to the latest Vienna police report.

An officer had received an alert about a stolen vehicle from Pennsylvania and located it in the Wawa parking lot at 465 Maple Avenue West around 7:04 a.m. on Sept. 19. Police say a man had walked from the convenience store to the vehicle with the keys. The officer confirmed the vehicle was stolen and arrested the man.

The suspect, only identified as a 37-year-old with an unknown address, also had a stolen gun on hand. He was charged with stolen vehicle, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, convicted felon carrying a concealed firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, and providing false information to a law enforcement officer. He was held without bond at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
