Suspect Charged in Vienna Area Home Break-In: Police
Woman called police after hearing someone in her basement Friday morning at 3 a.m., according to police.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- A woman woke up at her Vienna-area home in the middle of the night after hearing noises in her basement, according to Fairfax County Police.
The noises turned out to be a suspect who broke into her home, according to police. Fairfax County Police responded to the 8500 block of Harvest Oak Drive (see map below) Friday at about 3 a.m., after the woman, 42, heard the noises and called police.
Officers located the suspect inside and took him into custody, police said. Police say the man, Irene Casto Chicas, 50, of Reston, was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center and charged with unlawful entry and destruction of property. The victim was not harmed, police said.
