Three Weekend Burglaries Reported in McLean

Get caught up on the Fairfax County Police crime log from the McLean Police District last weekend.

Fairfax County Police responded to three separate burglaries in the McLean Police District over the weekend.

The first crime took place on Friday, Sept. 25, on the 7400 block of Nigh Road. A resident on that block contacted police to report an unknown person entered their home and took property.

The second incident occurred at a business on the 220 block of Pimmit Run Lane early Sunday morning. An alarm was triggered at the business at approximately 2 a.m., and when police arrived they discovered someone had entered the business and taken property.

The third incident involves to known suspects stealing an ATM machine from a business on the 8500 block of Lee Highway. No one inside the business at the time of the theft was able to describe the suspects to police.

All three cases remain under investigation.

  • 3000 block of Gallows Road, phone from school.
  • 6800 block of Old Dominion Drive, console from vehicle.
  • 1800 block of Old Meadow Road, wallet from business.
  • 8000 block of Tysons Corner Center, merchandise from business.
  • 8100 block of Tysons Corner Center, sunglasses from business.

STOLEN VEHICLES:

  • 1500 block of Spring Hill Road, 2007 Toyota 4 Runner.
  • 1700 block of Tyvale Court, 2007 Toyota Yaris.
