A Vienna Police escort stopped traffic for the students, who each carried one of the toys the school had collected for the past two months from their classrooms to a large tractor trailer in the Coldwell Banker parking lot.
There, the students collected candy canes and hot chocolate and also talked with several Marines, who distribute the toys to needy children and families in the greater Washington, D.C. area.
